This tutorial is only intended for users running the Internet Explorer 11 Web browser on Windows operating systems.

IE11 gives you the ability to view Web pages in full-screen mode, hiding all elements other than the main browser window itself. This includes tabs, toolbars, bookmarks bars, and the download/status bar. Full-screen mode may prove ideal when viewing rich content such as videos and can be toggled on and off in just a few easy steps.

First, open your IE browser.

Click on the Gear icon, located in the upper right-hand corner of your browser window and shown in the example above. When the drop-down menu appears, hover your mouse cursor over the File option. A sub-menu should now appear. Click on Full Screen. Note that you can use the following keyboard shortcut in lieu of clicking on this menu item: F11

Your browser should now be in full-screen mode. To disable full-screen mode and return to your standard IE11 window, simply press the F11 key.
